Turns out I freaked out for nothing, Wei Li got back on the 11th, so managed to enjoy the new place. Its in a mess right now, boxes all over the place, but the living room and the dining area looks great. Well, it better be, with the (uneccesarry) amount of money we put into the couch and dining table. Felt almost ashamed to be living in such luxury. But hey, its a one in a lifetime experience. After Uni, I'll most probably be doomed to uluness in Banjarmasin for the rest of my life, gotta enjoy it while I still can.
Won't have Internet access in a while, waiting for my other housemate, Maha to get back . I think we might actually settle for a 56k dial-up. In anycase, won't be blogging or e-mailing much, and in anycase, I shouldn't be doing them anyhow since Op:CAS looms near. Plus, I've still got to unpack and organise my room...
Well, gotta do up the publicity for Op:CAS... hope everything turns out well.

AIYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! SO FRUSTRATING!!!
Don't know if you folks know, but I'll be staying in a new place this coming sem in Adelaide. Problem is, I haven't got the keys to the place, even bigger problem, I DON'T KNOW IF MY BRUDDERS ARE BACK!!!!
I think it'll be quite funny, arriving at the new place, only to realise no one is in!!

My first Reunion Dinner in Banjarmasin since I was 5... had a simple one... with my family and my uncle and auntie from next door. Most of my Indo relatives are in Balikpapan, which is in East Kalimantan, so its a pretty quiet, and no doubt not a very prosperous Chinese New Year this time round.. heh..
Lion dances are popular here. The troupes usually go around on the streets, playing their drums and cymbals, awaiting invitations to enter the homes of the what little Chinese community here. The guy opposite my house got irritated with the noise and shouted "Allah Wakbar!" Peace dude... we tolerated your celebrations..
Well, have a happy and prosperous one guys...

Watched "Luther" today. A movie based on the life of Martin Luther, the German Monk whose ideas reformed the Church. He is the man that all us Christians should be grateful for. If it weren't for him, we might still be bowing down to the bones of saints and buying of indulgences and whatever other ways the Church enforced on the believers.
I highly recommend it to those who are interested in church history. It does give the viewer a look at how legalistic and corrupted and even ridiculous organised religion can be, in this case Christianity.
Coloured my hair today as well. Its blonde again, a darker blonde this time round. Wanted a way darker colour, but can't believe it turned out blonde again!!! Haiz... sudah lah...
Taking in today, its the longest time I've been in Banjar since I was... 5? And I've got a week left before I head back.

... to update...
Nothing much going on, spending much time watching DVDs and co-ordinating Op:CAS. I think I overworked Yahoo! Mail, it actually hanged on me a couple of days back!!
Also have the urge to colour my hair! I think I shall do that tomorrow when mum drops by the saloon.
