Comm dinner is apparently an annual affair... a humourous and enjoyable one too! We started it off with prayer. We would be assigned prayer points and then get paired up to pray and share with one another. We did it Sadie Hawkins style last night, where the ladies get to pick the boys. Was picked by G, good thing since its been a while since I caught up with her.
Looked at photographs courtesy of G and saw a few blackmail-able grade photographs of Sarah. We all gave her crap for that... heheh
Had dinner promptly after that. Chok's chicken dish gets 2 thumbs up! Shel's butter chicken was yummy too! (No, I'm not saying it for the sake of saying it...stop sniggering you twits...)
Lai Kuan came up with the most exaggerated line I've heard in a long time..."I've never been so full in my 2 years here..." We all gave her crap for that too....
Played truth-or-dare after dinner. Can't blog anything since we all agreed that what was shared remains within the comm... Nothing overtly scandalous though, just really funny questions...
Overall a really fun night, and now am suffering the repercussions of a highly enjoyable holiday by having to cram for a 15% test tomorrow and a 15% essay due Thurs... oh well.... enjoy the pics...

Ok, ok so I apologise for not blogging as frequent as before. Some things are just not meant to be blogged you know... Anyways, went shopping today with Maha. We intended to do it tomorrow, but since we were both feeling unproductive and lazy, decided to just do it today!!
So our first stop was Harbour Town, but I reckon Harbour Lane would be a better description for the place. Its a direct factory outlet kind of a place, where the clothes were supposedly cheaper. Saw a few nice pieces, but didn't have my size, so had to just move on. Found a shop that sold cheap underwear, so grabbed two boxers for $15!! Thats pretty cheap. Then stopped by Espirit, and bought a $20 t-shirt, thats pretty cheap too! Maha got a couple of briefs as well... and with that, we headed for Rundle Mall..
Maha showed me a shop with really clothes down at Rundle Street, and saw a really nice jacket, but wasn't sure if I should get it cuz it cost like about $139.. which wasn't too bad, but decided to go against the urge to splurge and got a $10 wrist band instead..heheh.. Stopped by Rodger David and grabbed a pair of new jeans for $90...which was reasonable, and I really needed a new pair of pants. Went to the bank afterwards for rent payment and Target to buy new pillows since they were rather flat.
After being satisfied with our purchases, we decided to head back home and rest a bit before heading over to Lai Kuan's for dinner, which was yummy...
Had another wine-and-jazz session with the boys, and ended the day by having a chat with Shel...=)

Time really flies doesn't it? Not just regarding this week. I mean, last week around this time I was preparing for Easter Camp, and now, its like trying to stabilise myself again for uni. I've got an essay to do, and that requires lots of readings, and a financial economics test and assignment to prepare for. Plus, I've really got to catch up on my other subjects.
Shanny would be graduating from primary school soon, and her time to leave Banjar is nearing. Seems like mum and dad wants to send her to Singapore instead. I guess thats fine. Shintya seems to be heading towards America to get her Bio-tech degree, and thats in one and a half years time, the same time I would have graduated. Got all this info from Shin's blog. Thanks for blogging it all down Shin, would be calling you real soon.
It scares me that life is already so short, and now with the pace its moving, I can't help but want to pick up my own pace and catch up with it. I wouldn't want to end up regretting not doing the things I should have, could have or would have done.
Teach me O Lord to number my days...

Easter Camp just ended, and what a camp it had been. My faith has been stretched, my heart for people grew and my urgency to work has increased. Too bad I didn't take much pictures... just have to swipe them from others I guess...
How Great Is Our God- Chris Tomlin
The splendor of the King, clothed in majesty,
Let all the earth rejoice, all the earth rejoice
He wraps Himself in light, and darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice, trembles at His voice
How great is our God, sing with me,
How great is our God, all will see
How great, how great is our God
Age to age He stands, and time is in His hands,
Beginning and the end, beginning and the end
The Godhead, three in one: Father, Spirit, Son,
The Lion and the Lamb, the Lion and the Lamb
Name above all names,
Worthy of all praise,
My heart will sing
How great is our God

Management test was ok... should at least be able to pass.. the questions were fair and reasonable, so no complaints...
Business finance test tomorrow, or rather later on. This is the second time I'm taking this subject, so found it a bit easier than the first round. But I have no doubts that the paper will still be challenging as before. Finished reading through the text, but have yet to do any of the past papers. Considering to do them later this morning after the Liverpool and Juventus match, or should I do them now?... Hmm... kinda brain dead now, but am afraid of being brain dead the whole day if I were to do it after the match. Then again, I can afford to be brain dead the whole day as long as its after the paper...
Jie Yenny has been sms-ing me alot, seems like she's bored in Balikpapan, but can't blame her... she's over qualified over there.... hope she gets a job that suits her real soon. I really shouldn't study too hard, lest I end up being over qualified in Banjarmasin... nah just kidding! Won't want to end up depending on my parents for the rest of my life, or worst, end up having a sugar-mama (you know, sugar daddy? But female version?)!!!!
Right... I need sleep.....

Quite a busy day-off, went to uni to hand up my assignment and then to Rumours for lunch and 45 min of studying, after which returned to the Palace and did more studying, and then grocery shopping with Maha. Wei Li was sleeping cuz he woke up pretty early...
Did some more studying in preparation for the test tommorrow. Received a couple of phone calls, read a couple of e-mails, read a few more pages of the text, then had butter chicken for dinner. Procrastinating right now...
Lets see what I have to do till the end of the week...
- Study for 2 tests
- Call Yi-An for an appointment
- Reply Emi's and Siew Yee's e-mails
- Call the Indo Consular regarding my passport
- Borrow books for the management essay
- Check out air-fares to China and Sydney
- Prepare 3 tutes.. I have a feeling I'll only be doing 1 of them...
Well, sounds like a busy week, but its all part of growing up... 3 more days to go till the mid-sem break and Easter camp...
