Hello all, my final paper is tomorrow.. ESL, don't know how to study for it.. I mean its English man... how to study? Never remembered studying for English or GP back in Singapore, and still managed to do ok. Should be able to do well tomorrow... hmmm sounding abit cocky now... but its true!!

Got up at 1 today... holiday mood has already begun... ate some Nasi Lemak Haran got from Melbourne.. tasted pretty good.. waiting for Shel to come over and bring me dinner... I'm quite bored... gonna finish up Grandia II now... so till next time...

Hello everyone, two papers down, two more to go. The first paper was alright, should be able to pass it. But Financial Economics was bad... didn't know how to do the questions... "finished" the paper in 2 hours and spent the next 1/2 hour doing nothing before I decided to just go home and wallow and take it out on DOTA. I'm actually feeling quite relaxed about it. Oh well...

It was actually snowing in Mount Lofty last night! Didn't get to see it though..yep, guess winter's finally here. Been raining alot these days, and I think this is the coldest winter I've ever had in Adelaide. Have to actually wear 3 layers of clothing just to keep warm. Don't remember winter last year being this cold. Just to share the mood, I've found some snow flake codes... hope everyone can catch the mood of winter here in the Transit Lounge...

Next paper is on Monday, Business Finance... failed it last sem, but find it easier now. Aiming for a credit at least... better put in the effort to match. Till next time...

The Uni exams will start in a couple of days time... first paper on the first day.. the 18th of June, a management paper. Quite relaxed this time round, not as urgent as last sem. Still able to play DOTA. I guess it helps to keep a cool head heheh... But don't worry, I am studying. Been revising in the afternoon and at night.Trying to cover at least 10 hours of work each day... so.. shouldn't be a problem.....heh... we'll see....

Wei Li's got a new hobby... flooding Maha's tagboard... check out his blog at the blog-circle area... Giving him so much crap... I guess he needs to take it out on someone...considering the amount of crap he gets from Cass and Shel...

Right better hit the books again....

Its 3:20 in the morning, and the entire Gilbert household is still awake. Maha is doing his assignments, 100+ sketches to do... due tomorrow, while Wei Li's admiring Chet Baker... Me? Procrastinating from work. Looked around for a new skin and found one really cool one. But somehow the background picture didn't come out right. Back to square one.

Quite surprised that I'm still quite fresh. Did work in Uni with Chok, Daniel and Shel in the afternoon, then proceeded to my place for dinner. Master Chef Chok and Dan cooked for the household, which was a refreshing change.

I'm quite optimistic about the exams. I think I can pull it through, but what keeps on coming to mind is John 5, that Christ is the vine and we are the branches and without Him, we are nothing. May my education bear fruit in due time.

No, no, I didn't die in my sleep, if you guys were wondering why I hadn't blogged in a while. Was busy revising. Its the usual slack-for-entire-semester-cram-for-two-weeks routine that most of us are accustomed to. At the rate I'm going, should be able to cover all my topics. But I suppose it would be good to pick up the pace, just in case.

Watched Mr and Mrs Smith last night, quite an interesting movie. Imagine a couple quarreling with big guns and gizmos. Am glad that Shel isn't an assassin, or I would be dead by now. I guess the lesson I picked up from the show is communication. Go watch the movie to find out what I'm talking about. I've got to go back to Financial Economics... *sigh*...

If you have ever felt frustrated and confused over the amazing speech capabilities of the woman, and their demands that you match their abilities... join the club.

I always knew that girls love to talk. Its their main form of communication. No one told me that they expect the same out of the man. Talk about a learning process... how can you ever learn to talk so much? Why do you even want to talk so much? Take it easy, there are other forms of communicating you know...

In the midst of all the frustration, John Eldredge offers a helping hand.

Eldredge mentioned that since we are all created in the image of God, it would be wise to ask ourselves what God is trying to show us when He created women. My lesson for the week: Women are relational creatures, just as God wants to relate to us, so do they.

I guess talking to girls is like an invitation to relate to them. They want to know...EVERYTHING... The more they talk, the more it seems they are saying "C'mon tell me more! Tell me more! Tell me MORE!!!!" So it is with God. He wants to relate to you. He wants to talk to you, to tell you things, He wants you to talk to Him....this is what we call prayer...

Granted, the way we relate to God and to women should be different, but I guess its a start, that we recognise the similarities between God and women and take the effort to improve our communication with them.

I'll post the results...
