Hey all, hope this post finds you well. I'm doing ok, kinda slack and lazy, but whats new? 2nd Sem starts tomorrow and my room's a mess. Will clean it up after Uni tomorrow. Alas, my days of having a long weekend has ended. I have classes on Mondays now, BUT, Fridays are still free! Heheh.. quite a good timetable, I must say, since I still have TWO off-days, Wednesday and Friday!

Will be re-taking Financial Economics since I failed that one, and also Corporate Finance Theory and Strategic Management. I'm underloading this sem, and would overload next sem instead if I still want to graduate by next sem. Have a feeling its not possible, but we'll see...

Heard from Shin that Shan is settling in quite well in Singapore, but still need to accompany her wherever she goes. Hmmm, reminds me of the good ol' days where I had to bring Shin around. I guess that was when my brotherly/fatherly instincts kicked in... hmm, kinda wished Shan came here instead, but I guess its not her time yet. I looked forward to bringing her around Adelaide and making sure she settled well in boarding school. Even planned to put her in Pembroke since Maha's famous there and has got good relation with the staff.. oh well.. there's always next year. Shan has been studying english for the past 3 weeks. I think she's struggling a fair bit, but she'll be alright.. I remember Shin's grammar was crap when she first came. Heck, my english was so bad, my classmated refused to talk to me till I was primary 2. Then again, it could be because I mumbled... still do..heh...

Shel's finally back! The 2 weeks without her were costly... I finished up $60 worth of phone credit. She bought me a very nice vest. Its one of my favourite pieces now =)...

Op:Welcome was a success, thanks to many dedicated individuals. Don't really know the exact number of newbies we have, but according to Chok, there were more newbies than oldies last Friday... I think we reached 90... these are truly exciting times...

Well, here's to another great semester... This sem, failure is not an option!!

Hello all, just checking in to see whats happening in the Lounge. Nothing much I see, except Cass telling me to go poo... hmmm she has issues...

Ok, now that I'm done giving Cass crap, would like to share what has been happening for the past few days.

Been trying to upgrade my graphic card, but now learnt that laptops aren't made to be as customizable as desktops. So, I'm left with an obselete graphic card. Can't play the GuildWars that I purchased, but at least I can still play WarCraft.

Saturday was also a leader's retreat. Pretty interesting to find out out that my phlegmaticism has decreased, and my cholericism has increased. My sanguinistic nature had also taken a toll, and I'm now a predominant melancholic... What has the comm done to me??!!!

Will be busy over the next few weeks in lieu of Op:Welcome. Will try to blog my experiences heh...

Oh well, I guess thats it for now... nothing else to add...

Hello all, its the first proper week of the holidays.. just wanted to do a semi-reflection on the semester that has passed... might get long and boring, so I'm warning you first.

I think I worked abit harder than last sem, so I'm congratulating myself for that. Will have to wait for the results to see if all that "hard" work pays off. I think I've learnt to plan when and what to study beforehand, rather than just going with the flow and study on whatever day and subject I feel like. Of course going for tutes and lectures are of utmost importance even though you might feel its more worthwhile to go shopping after prayer-meets on Thursday. The long weekends that I had weren't used very productively. Still ended up not able to finish my tutes... again... planning is important...

This new place is really great, but nothing can beat the brudders I live with. They've been very supportive and kind, and such a great fun to hang around with. Really enjoyed our wine-and-jazz sessions. Wonder if we'll be having a wine-and-DOTA session anytime soon...

Spiritually, I don't think I've really grown, but I do feel more equipped and prepared for ministry. Being in the committee has been such a privilege and a challenge. More often than not, I've learnt more of myself and my weaknesses and also the grace of God in such situations. As a Bible Study(BS) leader, I was more focused on identifying potential group leaders rather than feeding of the Word, so a mismatch of tasks there, but I'm glad that 3 of my group members will be serving as BS leaders next sem. I am confident they have what it takes to teach and challenge our flock.

I've been such a slob when it comes to excercising! Haven't played volleyball at all!!!! Kinda miss the court but I might have to give up on this sport since there are other things at hand that needs my attention...like Shel.... ok, might get mushy but I'm proud of her..skip the whole paragraph if you can't stomach it...

Its been about 3 months and I've really learnt alot from our relationship, like being tactful and sensitive and even though we stepped on each other's toes one time too many, we still love each other knowing that we both have some growing up to do. Love has really been a choice, and I choose Shel. I choose to be patient, kind, courteous and whatever else 1 Corinthians 13 says love is to Shel. Why? Because she is worth it.

So thats what has been going on in my life for the past couple of months, and I'm glad that God has seen me through. He has truly been faithful and gracious. Thank You Abba...
