Yup, safe and sound in Singapore, decided to revamp and update the blog once again!

I guess I should write abit on what I learnt in convention. The first impression I got of the campsite were the killer flies who swamped and irritated you all the day long. My group was quite a chatty bunch, but all that meant nothing since Shel wasn't around =(... But never mind, the various activities kept me busy. One of the interesting things about the campsite was the chapel. It was one of those ancient chapels with really high ceilings. I think it was designed that way to make you feel small. In the same way, when we stand before God, we should keep in mind the greatness of God and the limitations of humanity. Well that was my lesson from convention. Of course, Eugene and Graham were great speakers, somehow balancing and complementing each other. Message-wise and workshop-wise, I learnt a great deal more than last year. Great job guys!

AGM was inspiring, as always, and I've learnt of a weakness in myself. I realised that I've always been looking for a model in my life, so as to be able to just follow how they do things and take things easy... alas, God showed me through various circumstances that things were not to be that way. Life is a journey, and this MY journey. While I can have role-models, I have to go through this journey myself, sometimes dealing with things even my mentors can't teach me of. Of course, I am not alone and with God as my guide, I can go through this!

So, all in all, the reason for the change in template. Decided to accept the fact that life IS a journey, and this blog is my own breathing space, a space to rest, relax, laugh, procrastinate and contemplate. Till the next post...
